Just a short note of introduction. The Mrs. & I have currently have three dogs. Two English Springer Spaniels-Bonnie & Clyde-Yes they are a couple of little gangsters! Both are field bred and wonderful pets, too! Tasha is a Golden Retriever. All three of these crtitters are about two years old and lovable. Bonnie is like a little girl in a white dress skipping down a sidewalk with a basket of flowers, tossing one to everyone she sees. Now Clyde, is more like a runaway ... Does anyone do weight pull with their dogs? I enjoy working my dogs and between them they compete in shows, agility, obedience, weight pull and sled dog racing. For those of you that didn't, you can watch it in parts on youtube CLICK I was just interested to hear everybody's views . I thought the show did take quite a pessimistic view on all pedigree dogs which wasn't good (as there are healthy purebreds out there!). Some of the points raised I thought were good though. I don't really understand some of the Kennel Club standards, some of them are so extreme!
